PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Send this application to the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre. All supporting documentation (e.g., transcripts, course descriptions, language proficiency test scores [if applicable], etc.) must be sent directly to the Office of International Admissions at York University. Once we have received all your documents we require several weeks to make an admissions decision. If you are not able to submit your supporting documents before the deadline, please consider applying to a later entry point. For a list of required documents, refer to our Web site at www.yorku.ca (click on Prospective Students).

Note: Early Conditional Admission — If you are completing an academic high school program at the present time, you can ask your school or teacher to send a statement of your interim or predicted final results to the Office of International Admissions. We will offer you early conditional admission based on this information if your academic qualifications meet our entry requirements.

With this offer, you will be able to apply for a Student Authorization at the nearest Canadian Embassy, High Commission or Consulate. The Student Authorization is needed in order to study in Canada. If you are attending a postsecondary institution at this time, we may be able to consider you for possible conditional admission as well. To assist us with this, please submit a detailed transcript of your university/college courses that outlines grades achieved and courses in which you are currently enrolled.
