Faculty of Arts and Science - St. George Campus

The Faculty of Arts and Science offers over 300 different programs of study. Details regarding these programs can be found at <www.artsandscience.utoronto.ca>, in the Admissions Handbook and in the Faculty of Arts and Science Calendar. You may select only one program area and it should be the main program area in which you plan to study. While you are now asked to indicate a subject of major interest, it is not until second year that you will be required to choose your program(s) of study. First-year students are encouraged to explore new areas of study, and if admitted, you may select courses outside of your program area, provided that you satisfy the prerequisites and space is available. For courses in very high demand, space is first allocated to students admitted to that program area, then to all others. All Faculty of Arts and Science students are members of one of the seven Colleges on the St. George Campus. You will be sent information on how to choose a College. Please read about the options available on our website <www.artsandscience.utoronto.ca>. Selecting a College is a personal decision, and is not based on program choice. Students in the Faculty of Arts and Science can enrol in courses regardless of College affiliation.

You may apply to only one program area. Please indicate your subject of major interest.
