PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION English Language Proficiency It is the responsibility of the applicant to submit proof of English language proficiency. Candidates from outside Canada whose mother tongue is not English and who have not completed their previous studies in the English language are required to write the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or an acceptable alternative (eg. Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB); International English Language Testing System (IELTS)) before an offer of admission can be made. Candidates will be evaluated for admission on the basis of their complete dossier, including the result of the language test. Deadline date The deadline date for applications and receipt of official documentation is April 1.
